I am in a Saturn return. This event occurs every 29-31 years. It is when Saturn returns to the same place it was when I was born. It is a time of maturation, or in today's lingo, adulting. it is a threshold time to move forward with purpose and clarity with all the wisdom one has gained.


My Saturn is in the 10th house in Pisces. Saturn indicates one's work, and the 10th house is one's house of work, being seen in public. Both of these ushered in my yoga journey and now again its return.


This morning in meditation I realized this is the anniversary of when I began studying yoga, 29 or 30 years ago. Paramahansa Yogananda was my first teacher. I joined the Self Realization Fellowship and studied with them for a number of years. After about 6 years of daily yoga practice, I pursued a yoga teacher certification. And here he pops up on my feed and all the things I have taught for years in classes many of you will recognize in this video. It made me smile how ingrained the teaching are within my psyche and soul.


Last week, after a few months hiatus I returned to teaching yoga. For this moment I am only teaching Saturday 9:30am due to a pretty intense injury I sustained from my chart ruler Mercury conjoining with malefic Mars. It has been a long recovery. I am just today able to manage the discomfort. It will take me a while longer to be fully healed. It has stopped me in my tracks. I haven't left my house much and have been spending long periods in silence. Just what we need to do when we are put in a time out ;)


Therefore, after the winter solstice I will be adding Tuesday and Thursday 6pm classes. These classes will flow with the astrological cycles for the participants and what is going on for everyone. They will incorporate weights, dance, traditional asana, breath work, reiki, meditation etc. Basically, like it has always been in my classes. Each one will be dictated by the currents flowing through. I so very happy to be here back in my home practice. It gives me deep pleasure to teach these classes. All classes will be recorded and available on zoom.


It literally makes my cells sing.

Yesterday in my YouTube feed a video from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda appeared. Within it was predictions and information for the coming year of 2026 that was made by his teacher/guru Sri Yuketswar around 1920. I posted it on my facebook page and texted it to some of my clients. Then I transcribed the recommended daily practices to begin doing for the coming year and throughout the year for myself and for you.

Daily Spiritual Practices


Set your frequency for the day 

Before the external world impacts you. Strengthen your energy field against negative influences and gradually raise your baseline vibration over time.


Sit comfortably in bed or on the floor spine straight. Place both hands over your heart center take 3 deep breaths exhaling completely each time. Feel your body settling, your mind quieting.


On the 4th breath inhale while mentally saying “I am one with divine energy”. Feel the truth of these words. Hold the breath gently while feeling energy gathering at your heart. Imagine golden light concentrating there. Exhale slowly while mentally saying “I radiate love and light to all”. Feel this radiation moving out from your heart in all directions. Repeat this breathing pattern 7 times.  7 is a sacred number for energy cycles. Do not rush. Let each breath be full and complete.


After the 7th cycle sit in silence for two minutes. During this silence simply observe. Notice any sensations in your body. Notice any images that appear in your mind. Notice any intuition or guidance that arise. Do not judge, do not analyze, just observe. This is your soul speaking to you.


Before opening your eyes set your intention for the day. Say mentally “Today I choose the timeline of love, growth, and service. Visualize yourself moving through your day from this frequency. See yourself managing challenges with grace. See yourself connecting with others from the heart. See yourself making choices that align with your highest self.


This visualization programs your subconscious for the day ahead. Then open your eyes and begin your day from this centered place. You will notice the difference immediately. The world has not changed but you have changed and therefore your experience of the world changes.


Normal challenges with this practice. Your mind wanders during the breathing. This is normal. Gently return focus to breathing and the words. You feel nothing. This is also normal at first. Trust the process. Effects are cumulative. You will feel them in time. You will skip days. Life gets busy. It is OK, resume without guilt. Consistency matters more than perfection. Even five days a week is better than none.

 

Create a Stable Foundation


This meditation can be done at any time but must follow the Set Your Frequency meditation above. Sit comfortably with your spine straight. This is important. The spine is your energy channel. Slumping blocks the flow.


Begin with the set Your Frequency breath. 7 cycles. This prepares your system. Then shift to natural breathing.


Do not force or control just let the breath move naturally. Focus your attention at the point between your eyebrows. This is the spiritual eye, the seat of intuition and higher perception.


Visualize a sphere of deep blue light at this point. Blue represents divine consciousness. In the center of the blue see a golden star. Gold represents your divine essence.


Gently concentrate on the golden star in the blue without straining. Soft focused not hard effort. As thoughts arise, acknowledge them without judgment and return to the star. Each return is a repetition that builds concentration. If the image fades gently recreate it. Do not be frustrated. This is part of the practice.


After 10 to 20 minutes of this focused meditation release the visualization. Let it go completely. Sit in the silence that remains. Rest in pure awareness.


Notice something profound. You are not your thoughts. You are not your emotions. You are not your body. You are the awareness that experiences all these things. You are the space in which everything appears. Rest in this recognition.


Before ending mentally affirm “I am Consciousness experiencing human form”. Feel the truth of this. Slowly open your eyes carrying this awareness into your activities.


Regular practice creates a stable foundation that cannot be shaken by external chaos.

 

Daily affirmation

I am a divine being in a human form. I am here by choice for this exact time for this exact purpose. I welcome the transformation of 2026 with an open heart. I trust in the divine plan. I choose love over fear. I am guided, protected, and blessed. And so it is.

 

 

The protective practice

Each morning, midday, and evening visualize yourself surrounded by a sphere of white gold light. This light allows love in and deflects negativity out. It is not a wall of separation it is a filter of discernment. You are not cutting yourself off from the world you're maintaining your sovereignty within it.


Refresh this visualization of the golden ball of light around you before entering any challenging situation and before difficult conversations or before going into crowded places.

 

Conscious choice

This is to be practiced throughout the day.


Use it whenever you face a decision. Whenever you feel strong emotions, or whenever you notice anxiety rising. This practice trains you to become conscious of your frequency at all times and to actively choose love over fear in each moment. This is how you choose your timeline in practical terms.


The process is simple. Stop whatever you're doing for 10 seconds. Breathe take one slow deep breath and ask if this thought, this choice, this reaction is coming from fear or love?


Feel, notice the sensation in your body.  Fear contracts. You will feel tightness in your chest, in your stomach or your shoulders. You will feel closure, a pulling inward, hardening.


Love expands, you will feel openness in your heart, warmth, a reaching outward, a softening. Choose once you identify the source. Consciously select the love-based response. This may not be the easiest choice. It may not be your habitual choice, but it is the highest choice.


Act, move forward with your choice without second guessing.

 

Heart centered communication


Before any important conversation take two minutes alone.


Place your hand on your heart close your eyes. Breathe slowly and ask what does my heart truly want to communicate? Listen.


The first answer will be your ego. I want to be right. I want them to apologize. I want to defend myself. Let that pass. Ask again, what does my heart truly want? The deeper answer will emerge. I want to be understood, I want to understand, I want connection even in our difference. I want healing.


Distinguish between the ego and the heart. The ego is loud urgent defensive. The heart is quiet patient and open.


Set your intention out loud or silently. "May this conversation serve the highest good of all involved". Then enter the conversation from that centered place.


During the conversation remember these keys. Speak from I statements, I feel, not you made me. I, not you should. Give own your experience without blaming. Before responding to what another person says pause and breath. Just two seconds. This breaks reactivity.


Listen not just to their words but to the energy beneath what are they really saying, what they are needing. Notice when you are defending versus genuinely connecting. Defending feels like walls going up, armor forming, fighting.


Connecting feels like bridges are extending, openness is flowing. If you feel triggered if you feel strong emotion, just say, I need a moment.


Step away. Return to your breath and feel the emotion without acting on it. Breathe into your heart then return to the conversation when you are centered. Seek understanding before agreement. You do not have to agree with someone to understand their perspective. Say "help me understand your viewpoint". Ask questions. Listen deeply and acknowledge their perspective even if you disagree.

 

Conflicts that used to escalate now deescalate. Misunderstandings get cleared quickly. Authentic connection becomes possible even in disagreement. Relationships either deepen or complete cleanly without drama. You become a magnet to healthy relationships because you are communicating from authenticity rather than from defense.

 

Evening right before sleep

Do this ideally at the same time each night for 5 to 8 minutes. This practice prevents accumulation of unprocessed energy and clears your field before sleep. It allows deeper rest and processes the days’ experiences, so they do not become stuck energy and prepares you for the next day clean and fresh. It also enhances dream wisdom and guidance.

Lie down in bed in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and scan your body from head to toe. Notice anywhere you feel tension, heaviness, or discomfort. Breathe into each area. Imagine golden light flowing in with your inhale dissolving the tension as you exhale release the energy with the sound ah either silently or out loud. Feel the release leaving your body and dissolving into nothing.

Review your day briefly. What worked well? What challenged you? For anything you judge as a mistake, say silently “I release this with love and learn the lesson.” Feel the release. Do not hold on to guilt or shame. For anything you appreciate say silently “I received this blessing with gratitude”. Feel the gratitude filling your heart. Visualize your day as a completed circle whole, completed and finished. You do not carry it into tomorrow.

 

Set your sleep intention. Say mentally “tonight my soul travels to receive guidance and healing”. This is true. While your body sleeps your soul is active in other dimensions. Learning, healing, connecting with guides and higher aspects of yourself. Repeat quietly “I am safe, I am loved, I am guided. Let this truth settle into every cell of your body. Then allow yourself to drift into sleep do not force it simply let go

 

Energy hygiene protocol

 This is a daily maintenance like brushing your teeth. You move through a world of mixed energies. You encounter people's fear, anger, pain. You absorb energy from the places you visit. You take on collective consciousness from the media. If you do not consciously clear this daily it accumulates and drags down your frequency.

Here are the practices to implement.


 Limit news consumption to 15 minutes maximum a day. Not first thing in the morning or the last thing at night. Middle of the day when you're energetically strong.


 Set boundaries with social media. Conscious time limits. Mute or unfollow accounts that drain you, or trigger fear, or make you angry or have outsized emotions.


Set boundaries with people. Notice who drains your energy. You do not have to cut them out of your life but limit contact or create protective practices before and after seeing them.


Care for your environment. Clean organized space supports clear energy. Clutter in your space creates clutter in your consciousness.


Nature connection, a minimum of 15 minutes outside everyday barefoot when possible. This grounds you and connects you to the earth's energy and discharges built up static.


Drink plenty of water. Water carries consciousness. Bless your water before drinking it. Thank it, this programs it with a higher frequency.


For food eat what feels light and energizing not heavy and dulling. Your body knows, listen to it.


Sleep.  Prioritize 7 to 8 hours a night. Your body needs rest for integration of the new energy moving through you.


Media diet. Be conscious about what you consume through music, shows, books. Everything is frequency. Choose what raises your frequency rather than lowering it.
